For judo, its best to have a uniform in durable fabric that holds up during not only grips but in the wash as well! Thats why we chose a fabric in 75% cotton and 25% polyester: it holds up better to pulling and washing. With a grammage of 2.2 lbs/sqm, the high-quality fabric is well-suited to regional and national competitions (not IJF-certified). A collar and fabric that are suited to competing:During competitions, the more resistant your uniform is to pulling, the more difficult you are to hold. We created this uniform with a grammage of 2.2 lbs/sqm and a very rigid collar to make it easier to get out of holds. The front of the collar is curved for a more elegant look.
